Terms of service

These terms set out the conditions for using the digital products that SHUTO LOOKS ("we", "us") sells on this site. By purchasing a product, you are deemed to have agreed to these terms.

1. Products

We sell 3D LUT files (.cube format) for color grading. Editing software is not included. After purchase, we automatically send an email with a download link.

2. Scope of the license

We grant customers who purchase a product a non-exclusive license with no fixed term, covering the following:

Personal use (including social media posts and vlogs)
Commercial use (including client work)
Publishing, selling, and delivering videos and photos made with the LUT applied
Sharing within the same studio or team

The rights to the works (videos and photos) you create with the LUT applied belong to you, and we make no claim to them.

3. Prohibited uses

Redistributing, reselling, transferring, or lending the LUT file itself (whether free or paid)
Sharing the file with third parties outside your own studio or team
Selling material packs, preset packs, or similar collections that include the LUT file
Distributing or selling a modified version of the file as our product or something equivalent to it
Sharing or publishing the download link with third parties

We do not restrict you from adjusting or modifying the file for your own work. These terms also apply to modified files.

4. Intellectual property

The copyright in the LUT files and in the samples and text on this site belongs to their creator. These terms grant you a license to use them; they do not transfer copyright to you.

5. System requirements

The products can be used with software that loads 3D LUTs in .cube format (DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, and others). We do not guarantee operation with every software product or version. Before purchasing, please check that your environment supports the .cube format.

6. Returns and refunds

Returns and refunds are handled as set out in Returns and cancellations.

7. Disclaimer

We do not guarantee that the products are fit for a particular purpose or that you will get the results you expect. This does not apply in cases of our willful misconduct or gross negligence, or where a disclaimer is not permitted by law.

8. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. Revised terms apply from the time they are posted on this site. However, for products already purchased, the scope of the license (Section 2) and the prohibited uses (Section 3) remain as set out in the terms at the time of purchase.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. These terms do not limit any rights granted to you under consumer protection laws (including rights concerning jurisdiction).

10. Language of these terms

The Japanese version of these terms is the authoritative text. Any translation into another language is provided for reference only; if it differs from the Japanese version, the Japanese version prevails.
